ACAC Begins Short Course Season In Kingsport

The Atomic City Aquatic Club (ACAC) were excited to compete again at the 2020 Kingsport Piranhas Fall Kickoff to begin their short course season.  The results were very promising. 

Andrew Chou (13) made Southeastern cuts in all 9 events he swam.  As impressive, he won every race.

Stephen Zhukov (14) made Southeasterns in all 6 races in which he competed.  He won 5.  Tais Brown (16) made Southeasterns in the 100 Fly and 200 Fly, winning the 200 Fly.  Micah Brown (12) made Southeasterns in the 200 Free.  Jeffrey Nichols (10) made Southeasterns in the 100 Breast.  Kuba Shaw (13) won and got a Southeastern cut in the 200 Back. 

Some ACAC swimmers won races, including those mentioned above.  Leah Alexander (12) won 4 races.  Karol Shaw (11) won 3 races.  Sam Duby (9) won the 50 Breast and 100 Free.  Alexandra Kaye (11) won the 200 Back.  Grace LaCharite (15) won the 100 Free.  Sarah Saunders (12) won the 500 Free.  Jessica Schaefer (10) won the 100 Fly.  Benjamin Walls (15) won the 400 IM. 

Next up for ACAC will be the 2020 Barracuda Swim Club Pumpkin Patch Meet October 17-18.
