We are back to practice on Monday, October 19!! I am so excited to see everybody! Watch your email for more information!
Until then I hope that everybody will continue to complete as many as possible of the workouts for the S&C Challenge with Water! Please be careful exercising this week as the temperature will be higher than normal. Be sure and complete the warmup first before going on to the workout.
We are continuing to work hard with workouts for S&C and water. Please complete as many as you can to stay in shape. October 19 will be here quickly and you do not want to lag in the water. If you would like to post on FB that would be awesome! We will be back in the water, hopefully, soon. I am in the process of updating the team bulletin board at the pool. Please send me any pictures you would like me to post about what you did while on summer break on the team bulletin board. (With parent’s permission of course.)
The swim center pool is open for reservation lap swim for resident and non-resident team members. Please continue to swim so you are ready when we return to practice on October 19, 2020.
For non-resident team members: Circle C is now going to allow lap swim reservations to be made by registered Select participants during Phase 1 of our reopening. Participants will need to register for the team and pay the annual registration fee before they will have access to lane reservations. More information for non-resident team members may be found in the email sent on September 4, 2020 or on the Team Unify team website.
Reservations for resident and non-resident team members are as follows:
Weekday slots are available at 7am, 8am, 9am, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm.
Saturday and Sunday slots are available at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm.
It is important to know that reservations are for Ages 10 and up. Ages 10-12 will need to have a parent there with you. They may sit at the end of your lane but cannot swim in your lane.
Please remember that registration will have to be completed by all swimmers when the team returns to the water. The HOA is set our return to practice date as October 19. I will share the plan during the team zoom calls this week and then send out an email. Our plan is to keep all swimmers, coaches and staff to safe when we return. I am excited to have this plan and look forward to seeing everybody in the water soon! Until then I will continue to send out 3 swim workouts on Monday included with the S&C Challenge for those who have access to a swimming pool. If you have any questions send me a text or email. Our weekly hangout on zoom is on Wednesday. These calls we be moved to the beginning time of the groups workout practice now that school has officially began for all swimmers. Please use the links provided in the email that will be sent out Wednesday, October 7. If you are missing your teammates and coaches, join us to catch up and visit. Each group has an assigned time to dial in and we can all visit. We will have team Zoom calls every Wednesday until we have team practice. If you have a question, comment or suggestion about S&C or what is coming up, now is your chance to ask. The times are Bronze4-4:30pm, Silver and Gold 4:30-5:00, Sr and PrSr 5:00-5:30. If you have issues signing in please send me a text or email. Please continue to stay safe and heathy. Please remember to practice safe distancing according to the CDC Guidelines. This week will be awesome weather to swim and do S&C workouts. Be sure and hydrate throughout your workout. Be sure and stay safe. If you have any questions about an exercise read the definition page send me a text. I will answer as soon as I see it. Do not worry if you do not have mini dumbbells or weights at your house. Everything will be able to be done with things you have at home. So, lace up those running shoes, grab that water bottle, air up that exercise ball and get prepared for a week of great fun! : )
