Criteria used to award these athletes are:
Attitude & Sportsmanship
Congratulations to the Mantas Swimmers of the Month for September!
Novice, Swimmer of the Month - Eli Bailey
Eli has been and excellent swimmer to help kickstart our fall season! He is a model swimmer for listening skills, working hard, thinking and being smart about his stroke technique, and wanting to be better at every practice. Acting as a veteran swimmer, Eli always takes extra care and patience during stroke drills, even after he has mastered them. Coach Vance and I can always rely on Eli to have a great attitude, and he is always willing to help demonstrate a skill. Keep up the outstanding work Eli!
Coach Tanner and Coach Vance
Age Group, Swimmer of the Month - Hayden Kulas
Hayden moved up from the Novice program to the Age Group team this past summer. At the end of the summer, each swimmer raced each stroke in 50- and 100-meter distances in an end of the season time trial. Hayden had 7 out of 8 best times! He continues to listen well, and use what his coaches tell him to improve. Hayden comes to practice each day and works hard! His coaches have noticed his improvement from summer to now, and we look forward to seeing him swim in a meet this season. GREAT JOB HAYDEN!
Coach Paul and Coach Matt
Senior Groups, Swimmers of the Month - Charlie Simpson, Dave Wedzina, Logan Gustafson
These boys are amazing! As the summer turned into fall; Charlie, Dave, and Logan have led the way in the Senior groups. They show up to every practice, and every practice they ask what MORE they can do to get better. These three are the best examples for our younger Senior swimmers. They are respectful and caring teammates and are often seen cheering for everyone around them. They make practice fun! And, they inspire the coaches to challenge them every day. THANK YOU, BOYS!
