News from the Pool- Week of October 18
Thank you to those who have filled out this form to aid in our Winter session planning. If you haven’t already done so, please help us by filling out this form . We need your data so we know how many spots to plan for!!!!
CROSSGATES (XG) SCHEDULE
PINEHURST (PINE) SCHEDULE
EQUIPMENT DECORATING: We will host a swim equipment decorating contest through the end of the month. Send your photos with your decorated kickboard, pull buoys, fins and paddles. We hope to have a slideshow with all the festive equipment. There will be prizes for the most creative equipment personalizing. (This is also a sneaky way for us to get you to label your gear so we know it’s yours when you accidentally leave it behind!)
CLINICS and STROKE INSTRUCTION: These Friday and Sunday clinics, as well as private lessons have been a great way for swimmers to fine tune while getting in extra pool time. They are now available on our “ Swim Lessons & Clinics” link on our homepage. Friday, October 23 and Sunday, October 25 are wide open right now!
WINTER SESSION REGISTRATION: We do not yet have an exact date on when the next session registration will open to current or new members as we still need to know how many swimmers to plan for. All current members will have priority for at least 4 days to sign up for a spot in the Dec-Feb session. We are trying to coordinate the tally from the form above, as well as work with the county health department on pool regulations (if 200 people can congregate outside and restaurants can be open INSIDE, I’m hoping we can have more than 12 people outdoors soaking in chlorine bleach at one time…) I am planning for all possible scenarios.
ZOOM ON DECK: To observe practice from your mobile device, please use www.zoom.us:
