ACAC Swims At BSC Pumpkin Patch Meet

Pictures:  The Enthusiastic ACAC Swimmers Poised To Race

The Atomic City Aquatic Club (ACAC) swam in Kingsport at the 2020 Pumpkin Patch Meet hosted by the Barracuda Swim Club.  They had a fun time and swam well.

32 swimmers competed.  Southeastern cuts were achieved.  Stephen Zhukov (14) swam 8 races, winning each and making Southeastern cuts in 7 events.  Tais Brown (16) made Southeasterns in two events and won the 200 Fly. Micah Brown (12) made Southeasterns in 2 events and won the 500 Free.  Leah Alexander made Southeasterns in the 50 Back and won 3 events.  Mason Greenhalgh won the 50 Fly, in which he also made Southeasterns.  Kuba Shaw (13) made Southeasterns in the 200 Back.  Jessica Schaefer (10) made Southeasterns in the 50 Fly. 

Other ACAC swimmers won events.  Amelia Hodge (14) won the 100 Breast and 200 Breast.  Camden Gerchar (15) won the 50 Free and 200 Free.  Ben Martin (8) won the 25 Fly and 50 Fly.  Tyler Schaefer (8) won the 50 Back.  Tyson Schaefer (8) won the 50 Breast. 

Swimmers continued improving and overall the swim meet was a success.

ACAC will swim next at the 2020 Kingsport Piranhas November Invite.
