Nadadores Foundation Annual Meeting

Please join us for our first Virtual Mission Viejo Nadadores Foundation Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. You can hear all about the Nadadores year in review (and Masters) and what is in store for the future, all from the comfort of your home on Zoom.

Congratulations to Steve Freitas and Gwen Uthus for being awarded this very special award!

Gwen and Steve have both shown outstanding dedication and commitment to the Nadadores over many years, not only for their swimming but for their team spirit and willingness to always be there to volunteer at swim meets and other team activities.

USMS Fall Fitness 1 Mile Challenge

New for USMS members in 2020!

We partnered with so you can input your results on their app to benchmark your time for the future, compare against other swimmers, and join in on the social fun. Swimmers can upload swims or workouts using a compatible device (Garmin, Apple Watch, etc.), or they can be manually uploaded, so don’t worry if you don’t have a smartwatch!

Here is how it works:

1.   Link your My USMS account and account (this is required as the challenge is a USMS member benefit)

2.   Find and join the challenge on the app (here is how)

o     If you are on your phone, click these links to go right to them: 1,650-Yard Swim | 1,500-Meter Swim | 30-Minute Workout

3.   Complete your swim or workout

4.   Log it on the app

5.   Bask in the glory of your accomplishment, receive your badge on, and maybe see where you rank against others :) 


Nov. 15-30  (dates will be announced next week when will do it during workout)


Anyone who wants to complete this fun challenge. See the current USMS  member roster and non-member roster

Swim Tips

 Drill of the Week

– 2 Underwater Dolphin Kicks/One Breast Pull

This swim drill helps you become faster by allowing you to
focus on the timing of the strike phase.

By adding fins, you will increase the speed as well as the amount of drag that creates a greater ‘feeling’ in the water.

The timing is the most important variable in this stroke! And there is no better way to work on it than through different drills.
