USA Swimming Registration is required for all swimmers who wish to compete in USA Swimming sanctioned meets. We currently have three USA swimming meets on our schedule, not including Divisionals and Age Group State/Senior State. It is likely we will have at least three YMCA meets and Y State, for which your swimmer is not required to be a member of USA Swimming.
Our first meet of the season is a USA Swimming meet on Saturday, 11/14 against Oak Hill Swim Club and Tippecanoe Valley Aquatic Club at Oak Hill High School. Warm-ups will be at 12:00 p.m. and the meet will start at 1:00 p.m. To compete in this meet, your swimmer must be an athlete member of USA Swimming. I need this form completed and returned to me by the end of the day on Saturday, November 7. In addition, all first year USA Swimming members must provide a copy of their birth certificate. There are 3 memberships levels.
- Premium ($81) allows your swimmer to swim in all USA meets for which s/he is qualified.
- Flex ($20) allows your swimmer to swim in two USA meets, but not the March championships or national level meets. If your swimmer wants to swim additional meets, s/he is required to upgrade to Premium for the difference ($61).
- Outreach ($5) swimmers must meet federal qualifications for free/reduced lunch. Outreach allows your swimmer to swim in all USA meets for which s/he is qualified.
The fees for the option you choose will be charged to your YMCA account.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
