Indiana Swimming Reservation Process
OLY Swimming had a pre-scheduled tri meet with Fort Wayne and Pointe Aquatics in Elkhart… this is a 3 day, prelim/final meet, with a long course time trial on Thursday afternoon. There has been a ton of demand for this format of meet during what would normally be a busy time of the year for high quality meets.
These three teams are accounting for 160-170 athletes for the senior/13-14 prelims sessions… the facility currently has a cap of 200 athletes per session (with no spectators).
We have made a limited number of spots (30-40) available in this meet for Indiana Swimming athletes. Swimmers with at least one of 2020 18&Under Winter Virtual Championships standards virtual-championships can enter up to the entry limit in any other events that they meet the OLY Winter Invite time standards (min “A” times).
We anticipate these spots to go quickly. Starting on Thursday, November 12 th at 10am Eastern time a reservation link will be posted at the landing page link above. Teams that make it under the cap will be notified right away (within the hour). If you wish to enter ONLY the long course time trial on Thursday, email Kevin & Jeff directly

USA Swimming 18 & U Winter Championships Overview
Due to the COVID-19 crisis across the nation, all 2020 USA Swimming Fall and Winter Championships will be held in virtual or decentralized formats. USA Swimming hopes that as many sites and clubs as possible will participate in the USA Swimming 18-Under Winter Championships (formerly the Speedo Winter Junior Championships). Having multiple sites across the country for this competition will help create meaningful competitive experiences for all participating athletes.
Results for the USA Swimming 18-Under Winter Championships will be compiled from sanctioned events held throughout the country in Short Course Yard pools between December 1st and 13th. Any USA Swimming member club may host a meet to be included in the competition provided it has facility availability, local USA Swimming officials, and has the meet officially sanctioned through their LSC. Events and time standards will be distributed by USA Swimming for this event.  Individual hosts may opt to allow older athletes or athletes with slower time standards to compete in the meet based on local needs (i.e. to fill heats, additional entry fees, etc.), however, only results for athletes that meet the eligibility criteria and time standards will be included in the Championship results. Each host may limit the number of competitors or offer multiple sessions in order to comply with Local, State, and Federal requirements.
