Current Restrictions on Sanctions Extended
On Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, not unexpectedly, Governor Inslee announced that the current Washington state restrictions that were announced on Nov. 15 and then enacted on Nov. 18, would be extended for another three-weeks, until January 4, 2021.
Based on this mandate, all Pacific Northwest Swimming sanctioned meets remain prohibited until Jan. 4, 2021. Approval of sanctions for meets after Jan. 4 remains contingent on the regulations in effect for that date of the meet. As before, PNS will continue to monitor the situation and communicate with the regulatory bodies to determine when the current restrictions will be eased.
