Pool Entry Procedures and Expecations

Hello EMAC Families,

We can finally get back in the pool! I know the coaching staff is excited, and I can only imagine the swimmers are as well. Though this is an exciting time for all of our membership, we cannot forget we are guests at all of these facilities and need to follow procedures laid down to us so we do not jeopardize our continued use at these sites.

We are operating out of a few pools so please read through this completely to know what your swimmer is supposed to do at each site. Please be aware, published practice times include transition times from one practice to the other. To speed up transitions and help our athletes utilize the most of their time, please have: Your cap on and goggles in hand before entering a facility. The ability to change quickly to and from swimming attire so you can enter and exit the building expeditiously.

Steel Fitness Premiere

  • On a Weekday - Swimmers are to wait outside near the main entrance of the building until a coach comes to escort them in. While entering the facility, swimmers will need to sign it at the front desk.
  • On a weekend - Swimmers are to wait outside near the back entrance until a coach somes to escort them in.
  • Parents/Guardians are not permitted in the facility
  • Masks are to be worn at all times unless in the water.
  • Everything outside of the immediate pool area is off limits to our athletes. No gym, track, locker rooms, etc. There is a bathroom for emergency use, but this is for emergencies only. With practices being 50 minutes long, please have your swimmer use the bathroom before coming to practice
  • Practices need to be QUIET. We are utilizing this pool space with lessons and SFP membership. Coaches will be speaking softly and practices will be run in a semi-silent atmosphere.

Rodale

  • Swimmers are to wait outside, one swimmer to a concrete square, until a coach comes to escort them in. Once inside the facility, swimmers will go to their assigned location in the pool and await further instructions from the coaching staff.
  • Masks are to be worn at all times unless in the water.
  • Parents/Guardians are not permitted in the facility

Swim-In-Zone

  • We are currently working to get a protocol in place at Swim-In-Zone. An email will go out later in the week detailing these protocols, as well as be updated here for future reference.

See everyone at the pool!
