Our online practice calendar has been updated on our team website. You can find the practice calendar RIGHT HERE and you can use the drop-down menus on the left of the calendar to sort by training group.
It is very important that our swimmers, and families, know what we’re up against as we get back in to practice. Our training times may look the same as before we were put on a pause, but reminders of our protocols and encouragement to all of our members to do their part to keep the team in the water is crucial. You can find our COVID Practice Policies on the website, and RIGHT HERE. PLEASE HAVE SWIMMERS AND FAMILY MEMBERS READ THROUGH OUR POLICIES AGAIN.
Our DAILY Pre-Practice Entrance questionnaire can be found RIGHT HERE. Every swimmer, every day that they practice.
As we move forward, I will work at the possibility of competitions, such as the meet that was postponed in December. When we do compete, if we are the host team it is up to us to provide at least two officials of our own. Parents, becoming an Official is getting easier, and is a great way to help the team host meets. Minnesota Swimming is hosting a few VIRTUAL STROKE AND TURN OFFICIALS CLINICS
MNSI will be hosting virtual Stroke and Turn officials clinic on the following dates:
January 6th, 2021 - 7:00 to 8:00 PM - Signup here
February 3rd, 2021 - 7:00 to 8:00 PM - Signup to be posted after January clinic
March 3rd, 2021 - 7:00 to 8:00 PM - Signup to be posted after February clinic
These clinics are a great way to get interested persons from you club an idea of what USA Swimming officiating entails. MNSI will need officials to handle needs of upcoming Spring and Summer meets! Mantas Swim Club has incentives in place for our parent officials and it’s a great way to get involved.
