NO CHANGE IN HEALTH DIRECTIVES: No change to the health directives, so swimmers are still limited to one in-person activity and must still quarantine 10 days after traveling outside of the 150 mile perimeter.  If those change, I will let you know!  Thank you for your continued partnership in helping us all follow the health directives to keep our pool open and the kids swimming.  We are working together on this!

SATURDAY TIME TRIAL EVENTS:  If your swimmer hasn’t gotten to experience the time trial events, I think they would love the opportunity to get some more pool time in, race in a low key setting and enjoy the “mini swim meet” atmosphere.  We have been doing these for the past few months and they are really fun.  In a bit over 90 minutes, we have them warmup, race in 2-3 races and warmdown.  It’s  a great way for us to see how they are progressing.  RSVPs are on the “ events” page of the website.  All time trial events are complementary.

SUNDAY LAP SWIM: We will be starting our Sunday morning lap swim next week.  Swimmers can sign up for these slots through the “ events” page of the website.  Classes are $10/swimmer (complimentary for Varsity and Senior swimmers.)  Team members can do their own “lap swimming”, work with the coach on stroke specific skills or do the provided workout.  Come give it a try!

WELLNESS CHECK (if the answer is YES to any of these, they should NOT come to the pool)

Have you felt feverish? 

Do you have a cough? 

Do you have a sore throat? 

Have you been experiencing difficulty breathing or a shortness of breath? 

Do you have muscle aches? 

Have you had a new or unusual headache (e.g., not related to caffeine, diet, or hunger, not related to a history of migraines, clusters, or tension, not typical to the individual)? 

Have you noticed a new loss of taste or loss of smell? 

Have you been experiencing chills?

  Do you have any gastrointestinal concerns (e.g., abdominal, pain, vomiting, diarrhea)? 

Is anyone in your household displaying any symptoms of COVID-19?

To the best of your knowledge, have you or anyone in your household come into close contact (15 minutes of exposure within a 24 hour period) with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19?

POOL PROCEDURES: check here (especially important for NEW team members)

  • If they have a temperature OR any symptoms, do not send them to the pool and immediately email [email protected]

  • If any swimmer, family member or coach comes in contact with a person who tests positive for Covid-19 or becomes ill themselves, it is imperative that you contact me immediately, so we can begin the contact tracing protocol.
