How to Race
200 IM –
Butter Fly – Breath every other stroke
Backstroke – Roll shoulders and hips
Breast stroke – head down and Glide
Freestyle – Breath every stroke, swim down hill
200 Freestyle – After the first length, breathe every stroke. Stream line off turns, first stroke is with your arm on your breathing side.
100 Breast stroke – Knees pointing down, elbows in, Glide with head under water.
The goal is to WIN your heat. Do NOT be concerned with your time.
Be at the Putnam County Y no later than 6:00 pm EASTERN TIME.
Warm ups start at 6:20 eastern time.
