Kyle Brill Qualifies for 2020 US Olympic Trials (Wave I)

Congratulations to Kyle Brill for qualifying for the 2020 United States Olympic Trials (Wave I)!  He qualified in the 100 meter backstroke dropping over 4 seconds with a final time of 56.58, sneaking under the Wave I cut of 56.59 by one-hundredth of a second.  His Olympic Trials performance was during the CA/NV Speedo Sectionals long course time trials on Thursday, March 11 hosted by USA Swimming at Dixie State University in St George, Utah.

Kyle Brill will be joining fellow teammate Iza Adame to carry our team tradition on the trip to Omaha, Nebraska slated for this coming June.  Iza qualified for the 2020 United States Olympic Trials (Wave I) in the 100 meter breaststroke back in the summer of 2019.  The team is very proud to say we have two current team members with Trials!

9th fastest time in the United States for the 17-18 age group

3rd fastest time in the Western Zone for the 17-18 age group

#1 ranked time in the state of California for 18&U

1 of 2 18 and under male athletes in Southern California Swimming to achieve an Olympic Trials time standard
