Covid 19 Protocal - Updated 7.7.20

Spartan Swimming – Protocol Update July 7, 2020
 
 
Inform Coaches if any of these situations occur !
 
 
1. If You Test Positive for Covid 19
 
Symptom-Based Strategy
  • Do not attend practice or visit SPAR until:
  • At least 3 days (72 hours) have passed since recovery (defined as no fever without using fever reducing medications) … and
  • Improvement in respiratory symptoms (e.g. cough, breathing) … and
  • At least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.
If Asymptomatic
  • Do not attend practice or visit SPAR until:
  • 10 days have passed since positive Covid-19 test
  • If symptoms do develop, refer to Symptom-Based Strategy above.
 
 
2. Extended contact with someone that has tested positive for Covid-19
  • Do not attend practice or visit SPAR until you have a negative PCR Swab test (testing will not be viable until 4-7 days after contact), or
  • have self-isolated for two weeks.
  • If self-isolating, and symptoms appear, get a test and refer to the Symptom Based Strategy above.
 
 
3. Contact with someone that has had contact with someone with a positive test.
  • Monitor for symptoms.
  • Do not attend practice or visit SPAR if symptoms appear.
