Follow-up to story on Anthony Brescia-Connell

Anthony passed away on March 3rd. His obituary is listed below. Our hearts go out to the Brescia-Connell family.

Anthony Gabriel Brescia-Connell age 16 of Medford on March 3rd. Cherished son of Anne Brescia and Attorney Brian Connell of Medford. Anthony leaves his loving Aunt & Uncle Carol and Bob Brooks of Bellingham, Devoted Godparents Norma and Bob Frye of Sudbury, John Piepul of Shelburne Falls and Robin Emerson of Carlisle, Great Aunt and Uncle Barbara and Frank Curreri of West Peabody by his Grandparents: Nora Brescia of Saugus; John Brescia of Everett; Jim and Betty Connell of Worcester. He adored swimming and competed with the Sun Valley Swim & Tennis Team, Arlington Boys & Girls Club Team and Belmont Aquatic Team. Anthony's family will have visiting hours on Friday, March 11 from 1 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. A Celebration of Anthony's life will be held on Saturday, March 12th at Sacred Heart Church, East Lexington at 11 am In lieu of flowers donations in Anthony's name may be made to the Franciscan Food Center at St. Anthony's Shrine, Boston or the Pediatric Brain Tumor Clinical Research Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston. http://www.gaffeyfh.com/ index.php
