The Good Times Just Keep Rolling...

BASS swimmers entered their third day of competition in the 5-day meet still smiling, all up on time, all getting along well, and the times keep dropping!  In addition, our swimmers are getting to meet and watch some outstanding swimmers from around the nation.  It's amazing how fast some of these kids are and our swimmers are getting an on-deck view of the action!

The swimmers get to swim the qualifying events during the prelim session and then following that session they open up the events for time trials.  Yesterday Larissa Neilan (55.52 100FR) and Alex Montes de Oca (48.20 100 FR) recorded best times.

Today, Alex Montes de Oca ( 145.85 200FR), Chelsea Tomko (4:42.15 400 IM), and Justin Barden (400IM 4:11.18) recorded best times during the time trials.  Zach Switzer went a personal best in the 400 IM of 4:04 and some change (a favorite saying of the announcer at Nationals) during prelims.  Tomorrow sees BASS swimmers taking on more races in prelims only.
