2011 Swim-A-Thon
Date: Saturday, May 7th, 2011
Our Goal:  To raise $12,000 from this event with all participants collecting at least $50.

Event Details:
This year’s Swim-A-Thon will swim all groups at the International Swim Center.
National and Gold swimmers will start at 6:30am and swim during their normal practice time.
All other groups except Jr Bells will start at 8am and finish at 10am.
Jr Bells will swim from 9am-10am.
Kids will swim based on their groups and coaches recommendations somewhere between 100-200 laps.  We will have snacks for the kids and coffee for the parents.  We will need parents to be lap counters and cheerleaders so plan to stay to support your swimmers.  There will be a DJ and food on deck.

Suggested Donation information:
Donation envelopes will be available for swimmers on Monday, April 4th.  They can pick these up through the coaches, front office, or from their Bell Mom’s.  We suggest that swimmers collect flat donations so that you can collect your money prior to the event.  If donors want to pay per lap please make sure all your money is turned into the front office by Thursday, May 12th.
Donors are welcome to donate online through PayPal refer them to this page and tell them to click the DONATE button.  Please make sure they put the swimmers name in the Notes section of the paypal invoice so your swimmer can get credit.

  • All kids who participate and raise $25 will receive a certificate of participation.
  • Everyone who reaches our goal of $50 in donations will receive a special edition Swim A Thon t-shirt.
  • We will have a pizza party for the group that raises the highest percentage of money per swimmer per group.
  • All swimmers who raise $100 will be entered into a raffle to win a variety of great prizes including SCSC gear.
  • The top fundraiser will win an Xbox or a $300 Visa gift card.
