Special Olympics Meet Major Success

The Northern Kentucky Clippers helped put on another spectacular Special Olympics Swim Meet on Saturday. The meet was attended by 12 teams and over 125 athletes. The Host Team, The Northern Kentucky Blue Dolphins showed a ton of gratitude for all of the volunteers that came out to assist. A majority of the volunteers came from the Clippers program but they were also assisted by students from many of the surrounding schools. Here is a note from the head coach of the Blue Dolphins:

Dear Clippers, Coaches, Staff, Officials, Swimmers and Families

Thank you so much for everything all of you did to help with the Special Olympics meet yesterday.  All of you are fantastic and your help with this meet amazing and the meet continues to improve every year.  There were many positive comments received from everyone from athletes and their families that this is their favorite meet of the year.  This is because of all the help of the Clippers.  Although I have not had a swimmer on the Clippers team for six years I am proud to say that I remain a part of one of the best organizations in Northern Kentucky.

Thank you again for everything and I look forward to seeing you all at the Arctic Splash.

Thank You,
Debbie Ogden
