GOAL in 4th place in the Men's standings after 1st day of Sectionals

With one day in the books at the University of Missouri Aquatic Center in Columbia, MO, Greater Omaha Aquatics is in 4th place in the Men's standings, just one point behind the Univ. of Missouri Men's team.  The top 4 on the men's side is:  1.  Kansas City Blazers 143  2.  Rockwood Swim Club (St. Louis, MO)  74  3.  Univ. of Missouri  64  4.  GOAL  63.  In the combined men's and women's overall standings, GOAL stands in 7th, just 3 points behind Columbia Swim Club.

The highest GOAL finish was in the first men's event, the 100 free, where GOAL had 3 swimmers in the championship final heat.  Caleb Schuermann took 2nd in a lifetime best 52.61.  Tom Gasnick finished 4th with a personal best 52.68, and Ryan Miksch placed 5th with a 52.88, just off his lifetime best of 52.67 done in the morning prelims.
