2012 LAC Partners & Links
LAC Sectionals

Greetings Aquacowboys, it's been a busy summer, and a lot of fun so far.  This is a quick update to celebrate a great Sectionals meet where there were some breakthroughs for our team.  Also I want to mention some highlights from the Fireballs Season which is approaching Championship time. Information on the Orinda meet will come with the next update.

Fireballs:  It's been one of the best seasons in recent memory with some amazing swimming from our younger age groups, and some great leadership from current/ former LAC swimmers.  Kylie Clark and Haley Boeher have done an outstanding job as swimmer/coaches on our team, taking on great responsibility and doing it well.  They are heroes to the younger kids and have shown what leadership is all about, helping those around you to be great!  Jared and Vick have been instrumental in the 9-10 boys division as has Chloe in the 9-10 girls group.  Paige and Minh-Nha have broken almost every 6&un record, and Alden, Nick, Kylie, Kinsey, and Sophia.  Way to go Fireballs!

Sectionals:  Our team was in the top 5 of over 70 small teams!!!  Andrew and Nina made new Junior Cuts. Andrew was a finalist in the 200 IM earning 8th place.  Nina was 2nd in the 100 back, 11th in the 200 back and 12th in the 200 IM.  Haley made her first Sectional time.  Our relays all moved up in their heats and improved their times.  As a team we were close to 80% lifetime best times!!! Way to go team!

North American Challenge Cup:  Katie and Trent were selected to represent the United States in a meet with Mexico and Canada which will be held in Mexico this August.  Way to go, your dilligence and dedication is paying off.  Muy Bueno!!

Thanks to all Aquacowboy Families who help make this team great!
