ELIZABETH BEISEL CAPTURES A GOLD AT THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Elizabeth Beisel (ABF-NE) competed last week at the 14th FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China, and won a gold in the  LCM 400 IM  with a time of 4:31.78, setting a new American record! This Gold medal highlights the successful career of Elizabeth that we all have had the pleasure of watching since she was a little Age Grouper growing up in New England. Two other Bluefish Swimmers competed at the World Championships:

Ana Castallanos, 15, of Holden, represented Honduras, and competed in the Female 200-meter Breastroke and 400-meter IM.
Dorian McMenemy, 14, of Northboro, represented the Dominican Republic, and competed in the Female 50-meter and 100-meter fly.
