Ryan Miksch scores GOAL's first Olympic Trials qualifying time at Juniors

Earlier this afternoon in a time trial at the Junior National Championships at Stanford University, GOAL swimmer Ryan Miksch sped to a 51.23 in the 100 meter freestyle.  The Olympic Trials qualifying standard is 51.49 for that event.  Also, earlier today Will Raynor swam a personal best time of 58.07 in the 100 meter backstroke, good enough to put him in the A Championship Final heat.  He will swim in lane 10 at approximately 7:37 Pm Pacific Coast Time, which is 9:37 Pm Central Standard Time.  WIll's time was just 0.48 off the Olympic Trials cut.  You can watch the event by live streaming feed on the USA Swimming website, at (click on "Events", then "Junior Nationals").  The meet concludes tomorrow with the 200 IM (WIll Raynor), 50 free (Ryan Miksch) and 400 Medley Relay (Will Raynor, Jacob Molacek, Andre Wilt, and Ryan Miksch).  Great job GOAL!
