Odds & ends...
#1 - Officials are the backbone of all swim meets and by rule, the Neptunes must provide a certain number of officials at every meet attended by Neptune athletes. Without these officials, the Neptune athletes & team will be held responsible either by forcing our athletes to swim unattached (not score team points) or penalize the team financially. Without officials, swim meets will not happen. Officiating is a rewarding way to be involved in your child's sport and a great way to fulfill all of the 24 hours of volunteer service required by the team. If you are interested in becoming an official or at least learning more about officiating, please contact Bill Sargis at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 707-529-4192. Thank you to all of the current officials who give so much of their time to the team and to the sport of swimming.
#2 - Team shirts are here! If you picked up a shirt size last week that was not your size, please bring in that shirt and trade it in for the correct size. If you didn't pick up a shirt last week, check in with your coach today and we'll get you a team shirt.
