Volunteer opportunities at the VJO meet this weekend

Hello Neptune families,

THANKS to all the officials working this weekend's meet and to the parents joining in the new official training sessions.  Officials are vital to running meets and we appreciate your efforts.  If you are interested in becoming an official and would like to join the training sessions at the meet this weekend, please contact Bill Sargis at mechanix30@sbcglobal.net.

Neptune Swimming is responsible for filling all weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday 1 timing chair in Lane 1 of the shallow end and 3 timing chairs in Lane 5 of the deep end ).  Due to fairness and everyone's desire to complete their volunteer hours, we're limiting the total number of hours you can complete timing at this meet to 6 hours maximum per family.  Please note that if the meet is still running and we've exhausted all of our timers due to this 6 hour rule, we'll need parents to go above and beyond the 6 hours and we'll honor your volunteer service to the team.

To volunteer and sign up to fill these timing chairs, please see the clip board with timing sing ups at the coaches tents.  If you have any questions or need help, ask the following coaches:

Friday night - Laraine

Saturday - Tony

Sunday - Dave

Once the meet is over, I will submit your volunteer hours from this meet to Pam Kezer.  No action is required on your part.  If you do not sign up on the clip board and you decide to volunteer at the meet and time another team's lane, you will have 30 days to submit your hours to Pam Kezer for her to record and credit your account.

Thanks for your support & GO NEPTUNES!!
