Williamson Representing USA In Japan as a Member of the NCSA All-Star Team

Max Williamson left practice on Tuesday afternoon not to go home like most swimmers do after practice. Instead Max left practice to head to the airport to begin his journey to Osaka, Japan to represent his country and the Clippers in his first international experience. Max made the NCSA All-Star team based off of his results at the 2011 NCSA Junior Nationals and his results at the 2011 USA Summer Nationals.  Max is the sixth Clipper to attend a NCSA Junior National trip. (Cory Chitwood, Claire Dickmann, Ellen Williamson, Caitlyn Forman and Krissie Brandenburg)

Max will begin competition in this international meet in just a couple hours since it is all ready Friday morning in Japan. Through some interesting work the website for the meet has been found. Unfortunately unless you know Japanese you will need to translate the page through google. To look at live results Click Here. To check out the team website from Japan you will need to go to .

We are hoping to have more updates from Max during his journey. In speaking to his dad today, Max called around 1:30am last night and said things were going great. They were practicing two times a day. He also mentioned that the hotel was awesome, the pool was great and the food was terrible.

Check back for updates or follow him yourself.
