Buenaventura Swimmers Represent Well at First Weekend of Competitions of Season!

Buena Swimmers Represented Well at Two Separate Competitions:

Saturday, September 24th, Southern California Swimming offered some unique competitions, unlike the typical competitions we normally attend.  There was an age group Sprint Pentathlon Meet hosted by Pleasant Valley Swim Club, as well as a Navy Seal Challenge hosted by Rose Bowl Aquatics.  At the Sprint Pentathlon we had many top three over-all finishes within their respective age groups.  Tristen Arana placed 2nd in the 8 year old boy division, David Decker won 1stplace over-all in the 9 year old boy division, Tea Laughlin and Annika Arroyo earned 1st and 2nd place respectively, in the 9 year old girl division, Torie Ball placed 1st in the 10 year old girl division, Lauren Kearney placed 3rd in the 11 year old girl division, and our newest Buena Swimmer, Spencer Allen, earned 2nd place in the 11 year old boys division.

At the Navy Seal Challenge, which brought swimmers from all over Southern California, Niles Biolley placed 1st over-all in the 13 year old boys division, Chesna Biolley placed 3rd over-all in the 16 year old girls division, and Macy Sutter earned a 3rd place over-all in the 17 & UP age group.  All these athletes did a great job representing Buenaventura Swim Club, congratulations!
