Fisher and Kaestner named to the Scholastic All-American Team

USA SWIMMING'S SCHOLASTIC ALL-AMERICA TEAM

Ali Fisher and Katie Kaestner, from BBST, were selected as 2011 USA Swimming Scholastic All-Americans.  This is the second year that Ali and Katie were selected for the Scholastic All-American Team (2010 & 2011).  Way to go, BBST swimmers!!!

Each year, USA Swimming recognizes its members who excel both in the classroom and in the pool. The Scholastic All-America Team is made up of high school student-athletes who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and who have achieved the required time standard in a single event.

To be eligible for this recognition, swimmers must have completed 10th, 11th or 12th grade and must be a USA Swimming member athlete. Eligible times must be swum by June 30, 2011 and the application completed by August 1.

The 2010-11 USA Swimming All-American Team was announced October 17, 2011. Thirty-three PNS Athletes qualified for the team. Congratulations to these athletes!
