The Clippers are extremely proud to announce that Molly Hazelbaker has made her verbal commitment to attend and swim for Ohio State University next fall. Molly narrowed her choices down to the Ohio State, Missouri and Tennessee before making her final decision. “I liked all of the schools I spoke to and it was hard to tell school’s no.”
Hazelbaker joined the Clippers this past summer and has made a huge impact in the National Distance training group. She is an unbelievable teammate that greats everybody everyday with a smile. This summer she had a strong season with her highlight being the Grand Prix Meet in Santa Clara, California. At this meet she finished with seasonal best times in the 200 back, 400 free and an impressive finish in the 1500 free where she finished 9th overall.
Molly is excited about her decision to attend Ohio State University. “I liked everything about the school and the team. Coach (Dorenkott) has really built a great program since he has been there.” Molly will make immediate contributions with her current times being fast enough to score in the Big 10.
