DCST Wins Triangular Meet

DCST Wins Triangular Meet

DCST improved its dual meet record to 3 – 0 with a victory over Sage YMCA (McHenry) and Green County (Monroe, WI).  DCST had 672 points compared to 528 for McHenry and 76 for Green County.

After each meet, the coaching staff picks two swimmers, one girl and one boy, as the “Big Dogs" of the meet. Big Dogs are not only selected on their performance in the meet, but the coaches also take into consideration the swimmer’s practice attendance, work ethic, team spirit and sportsmanship. For this meet, Elizabeth White, age 9, and Andrew Smith, age 7, were selected as Big Dogs of the meet.

As a team, DCST had 153 new career best individual times out of 281 swims for a 54% improvement rate.  DCST had 51 swimmers who had at least two personal best times in the meet. These swimmers were: Madison Aimone, Franz Allendorfer, Camryn Anderson, Gavin Anderson, Tyler Berger, Anthony Biundo, Kristina Biundo, Timothy Braun, David Buck, Maxwell Buck, Celia Carpenter, Tim Dager, Noah Dean, Mikaila DiCostanzo, Grace Fergus, Jack Fergus, Erin Fidler, Bailey Flemming, Roman Friedrichs, Hannah Hanks, Noah Hauptmann, Ethan Heinrich, Grace Johnson, Brianna Kramer, Toni LeBlanc, Cokie LeBlanc, Jason Liu, Joe Luetkehans, Ivy Marcum, Rachel Maxwell, Flavi Michelini, Libby Mildner, Mason Miller, Abby Oberg, Kylie Olson, Abby Pardridge, Dane Pardridge, Julia Rasmussen, Amber Reynolds, Aiden Sisson, Andrew Smith, Josh Smith, Libby Swedberg, Andrew Tatum, Abigail Wagner, Tatum Wagner, Elizabeth White, Asher Wiegartz, Aleida Wilkins, Morgan Williams, and Anbo Yao.
