Bolles Sharks Win 2011 SCY Junior National Championships

Dear Parents and Swimmers,

We just got back from the 2011 Short Course Junior Nationals where our Sharks had oe of the most impressive meets ever.  The Bolles School Sharks won the Combined Team Standings and the Men’s competition for the third time in four years.

Our Sharks really had an impressive three days of swimming.  We had compliments from coaches, officials and parents of other teams on the performances, the way the team portrayed itself and also the way our Sharks acted as individuals.  It was a great feeling being on deck wearing out TRADITION shirts and being part of The Bolles School Sharks TEAM. Go Bolles!

From the first event, the 200 Free Relay, to the last event, the 400 Free Relay, our Sharks never stopped pushing and putting on performances that many college teams can’t do.  It was impressive.

It would take too long to mention what each one of our 26 swimmers did in every event.  We had swimmers like Ryan Murphy who swam a total of 19 races in three days and like Ashley Neidigh who swam a total of 4550 yards racing during the same three days.  Amazing!!!

Here are some of the highlights of the meet:
