Elite Team Swimmers Successful at Pro-Am Meet

Elite Team members Emily Brunemann, Robert Margalis, Ed Moses and Whitney Myers Burnett competed at this Short Course Yards meet. They won multiple events and posted very impressive times. Complete results can be viewed here.
- Brunemann won all four of her events: Women's 1000 Freestyle (9:29.00), Women's 400 IM (4:13.16), Women's 500 Freestyle (4:43.16) and Women's 1650 Freestyle (15:47.62). Her winning time in the 1650 set a new meet record, surpassing the previous mark of 15:51.45 which she set at last year's meet.
- Margalis won the Men's 400 IM (3:42.79), Men's 200 IM (1:44.53) and Men's 1650 Freestyle (15:07.07). Soon after racing the mile, he took second in the Men's 200 Butterfly (1:44.47) in a very close race that came just shy of setting a new meet record.
- Moses took fourth place in a competitive Men's 100 Breaststroke field with a time of 54.23. He had a close race in the Men's 200 Breaststroke and took second with a time of 1:54.99.
- Myers Burnett won the Women's 200 IM (1:57.14) and Women's 100 IM (54.53). Her winning times in both events set new meet records, eclipsing marks that were set by Olympians Kirsty Coventry (200 IM, 1:57.19 set in 2007) and Megan Jendrick (100 IM, 55.36 set in 2006). Whitney also took second place in the Women's 200 Freestyle (1:46.10).
