Senior Championships In Orlando

NFS is being represented in Senior Championships in Orlando, FL beginning today through Sunday!

Friday news and swims.  Top 16 swim again tonight in finals:

Mel Nash - 200 free(14th with 1:44.71 best time) and 100 Fly(19th with 54.29 best time)

Corinne Priest - 200 free(4th with 1:53.84 best time) and 100 Fly(1st with 58.52 best time)

David Li - 200 Breast (12th with 2:15.1) and 100 Fly

Jason Boatwright - 100 Fly

Tonight, those 3 boys plus Andrew Loshnowsky will swim in the 400 Medley Relay.  Finals tonight was swam LONG COURSE METERS:

Corinne Priest, who has swam long course once in her career: 200 Free (7th), 100 fly (3rd)

Mel Nash 2: 200 Free (16th with an 8 second drop; 2:05.12)

David Li: 200 Breast (14th with an 8 second drop; 2:41.54

The boys 400 medley relay placed 13th!  Great job tonight!

SATURDAY:

Corinne Priest: 50 free(3rd seed going into finals with a 24.15 Best time), 100 Back(3rd seed going into finals)

David Li: 50 free, 200 IM (best time of 2:10.35)

Andrew Loshnowsky: 50 free (seeded 10th with a 21.31)

Jason Boatwright: 50 free

Mel Nash 2: 200 IM(seeded 3rd going into tonight's finals), 100 Back(seeded 10th for tonight)

Men's 400 Freestyle Relay and 200 Medley Relay (placed 8th!)

Finals: Corinne placed 5th in the 50 free and 100 Back!  Andrew placed 15th in the 50 free, Mel 2 placed 8th in the 200 IM and 14th in the 100 Back.  The men's 400 Free Relay placed 14th.  

SUNDAY:

Another great day at Senior Champs!  

Corinne Priest made finals and BEST TIMES in both of her events - 100 free and 200 back!

Andrew Loshnowsky went to finals as the 16th seed in the 100 free.

David Li made finals with 2nd seed in the 100 breast.

Mel Nash is seeded for finals with 8th in the 200 Back, and 14th in the 100 free.

The boys 200 Freestyle Relay placed 8th!

In Finals: Corinne placed 3rd in the 100 freestyle and 7th in the 200 backstroke!

Both Andrew and Mel 2 swam the 100 freestyle and placed 16th.  David swam the 100 breast, and placed 2nd in a very exciting race!  Mel also swam the 200 back and placed 5th.
