GOAL has huge day at Tulsa, OK Sectionals, wins 3 events

The GOAL swimmers down in Tulsa, OK had a great day of swimming with many highlights.  Here a few of them:

Ryan Miksch earned his 2nd Olympic Trials qualifying time when he won the 50 freestyle event in a 23.49, getting the trials cut right on the button.

Will Raynor won the 100 backstroke with a 57.93.  His time is just 0.34 off of the Olympic Trials standard and is a new team record.

The Men's 400 Medley Relay team of Raynor, Jacob Molacek, Bob Glover, and Miksch won the event by over 3 seconds, swimming a 3:54.35, which was 4 seconds better than the previous Midwestern record from 1991 by a team from Nebraska Aquatics.

Jacob Molacek finished 2nd in the 200 IM, swimming a 2:09.85, breaking a 22-year old Midwestern record.

Men's 200 IM - Jacob Molacek 2:09.85 (2nd), Will Raynor 2:10.08 (4th)

Women's 50 free - Natalie Renshaw 27.80 (14th) ** new GOAL record

Men's 50 Free - Ryan Miksch 23.49 (1st)

Men's 200 Breast - Szymmy Day 2:31.61 (8th), Louis Landen 2:30,02 (9th), Alex Penrice 2:31.43 (14th)

Men's 100 Back - Will Raynor 57.93 (1st), Jacob Molacek 1:00.79 (8th), Bob Glover 1:00.16 (10th)

Men's 400 Medley Relay - Raynor, Molacek, Bob Glover, Miksch 3:54.35 (1st);  Michael Stein, Penrice, Jack Turman, Connor Magee 4:10.79 (14th)
