This year's 10 and Under Metros Championship at Dynamo Swim Club in memory of Warren Stephens was a great meet for all! Stingrays' 10 and Under swimmers displayed their hard work from the season by earning many personal best times as well as swimming many new events for the first time ever!
The meet's morning session was filled with 10 and under Girl's races while the meet's afternoon session was filled with the Boy's races. Both sessions were very competitive, fun, and fast as our swimmers raced in their individual and relay team events against the 10 and Under teams from Dynamo and Swim Atlanta! For many swimmers, this meet was filled with "first's" such as their first meet in a different team's pool, their first Championship Swim Meet, their first relay swim races, and many others! The entire Coaching Staff was proud to see our young Stingrays swimmers step up to these challenges and approach these new territories with confidence! As we always love to see such great improvements in race times, stroke techniques, and self-confidence, we were even more proud to see how our swimmers enjoyed themselves in their sport, cheered on their fellow teammates, and rose above any fears, setbacks, or concerns. This meet was a GREAT representation of the hard work our 10 and Unders have put into their swimming this season!
Way to go, 10 and Under STINGRAYS! This Short Course Season has proved to be one of great achievement due to all your hard work and FUN! Now, let's get ready for the SPRING & SUMMER seasons!
