Jason Taylor our Blue wave standout swimmer who swims at the University Of Florida swam his last race today at the Olympic Trials. The 1500 freestyle is one of Jason's signature events. the previous heat had a swimmer miscount his laps and swam a 1600 instead of a 1500 (Connor Jaeger), which got a chuckle from everyone.
Jason swam his race in 15:57.36 and placed 56th out of 91 competitors. Althought his time was not a personal best, Jason finished the meet with 2 out of 3 best times for the week. We are all proud of our Blue Wave swimmers this past week. It was definitely one of the worlds best swim meets and Blue Wave was there! Great job guys!!
