The days are starting to blur together at this point. The swimmers woke up looking forward to having just one more week of triples and then they would be home sleeping in their own beds.
We had our first lightening alarm today during the evening practice. I’ve included a picture of the device that senses when lightening is in the area and then sounds the alarm. Fortunately, we were only out of the water for ten minutes so practice wasn’t delayed too long. Our swimmers of the day were Ross Honig, Ryan Harty and Kamryn Stecyk for their swims in the 400 IM.

On the walk over to the pool you can hear everyone speculating on what the practice will be like. Everyone likes to guess if it will be stroke, IM or freestyle. It’s funny to hear.
Everyone was excited today at lunch time when Katie’s grandfather sent over cupcakes and cookies to the team! Thanks, it was a much needed pick me up!!!!!!
The 14 & Unders are now starting to taper so their yardage is beginning to come down a bit. It doesn’t mean that they are swimming less sessions per day, just less yardage. Today our swimmers of the day were Katie Brandeberry, Ross Honig, and Ryan Harty.
