2012 Week 7 Division Results

What a way to end the season.  Almost 4000 swimmers and over 10250 splashes led to 160 team records and the first 2 league records.  Amy Tansill from Breamar set the league record for the girls 15-18 50 Breast with a time of 34:36, while Sam Pomajevich from Sudley set the records in boys 15-18 50 fly in a time of 27:73.

To add to the excitement 6 of the 8 divisional meets had close team competitions.  For first place there were 4 meets determined by less than 100 points.  Dale City defeated Virginia Oaks by 91.5 in the Green Division, Wellington surpassed Bridlewood by 86.5 in the Yellow, Lake Ridge gained top honors in the White Division by 71.5 over Ashland, and Sudley 70.5 victory over Braemar was the closest meet of the week.  The Red and Black Divisions had close races for second.  In the Red, Dominion Valley had 46 more points than Victory Lakes, and in the Black Division only 16 points separated Montclair and Meadowbrook for 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Other division winners were Kingsbrooke in the Red, Westridge in the Black, Ben Lomond in the Orange, and Southbridge took home their first division championship in the Purple Division.
