BH-JSL Swim Program is looking for help.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have been asked to forward the following appeal from the Ben Hair Just Swim for Life Program that is supported by the Jefferson Swim League.

The BH-JSL Elementary School learn to swim programs are set.  We will need 6 adults and 2 or more Swim Aides/WSI's.  The programs begin Friday November 9 and continue every Friday for the entire school year when school is in session. Time 3;15pm to 4:15pm

Smith Aquatics needs 2 adults 2 swim Aides/WSI

ACAC Downtown needs 2 adults

ACAC Albemarle Square needs 2 adults

This is the program we have been talking about for 2 years training all Charlottesville Elementary school children after school kids.

We will now be setting up a program for 5th graders at Crow and we are close to starting the Holiday Inn project which will be run by YMCA this year

Gordon
PS. We need adults both Men and Women on dry deck to watch and help on deck and in bath rooms.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It has been clarified that the previous appeal for "Adult Help Needed for Swim Programs" does include 18 year-olds for sure and in most cases 17 year-olds who may have to work in pairs.

They may fill out a volunteer form on the BH-JSL website and sign up on line :

or contact Gordon Hair ([email protected]) .

A Community Service program from the BH-JSL web site may be printed to present to their High School for approval.

BH-JSL already has approval from Western, Albemarle and Charlottesville high schools as they require 10 community service volunteer hours.
