Dear Colleagues from the different International Swimming Federations,
In 2013, we are organizing a symposium for researchers from all over the world, which are currently active in diving research  (May 8th to May 9th, 2013) in Leipzig, Germany. Our Homepage is online for more detailed information.
The aim of this Research Symposium is an actual exchange of contemporary state of the art research of Sportbiomechanic-, Sportpsychologist-, Athletics Training-, Kinesiology and Medicine- Experts, which are involved in academic and non-academic research in diving. This could be the start of a continuous exchange with regard to scientific development in diving.
The symposium is planned including 2 keynote lectures and 4 thematic sessions. One of the keynote lectures will be Prof. Dr. Wei Guo LIU from the School of Physical Education of the  Guangxi Normal University, who will talk about  “A Biomechanics Research on approach and jump on springboard”.  A second keynote lecture will be held by Prof. Dr. Doris Miler (Ontario) Canada with the title: “Teaming Up to Enhance Diving Performance”.
