NHSA Tri-Meet (UVAC / MST / EST)

Saturday October, 27

This Saturday Marked the first of our NHSA (New Hampshire Swim Association) meets.  The NHSA brings teams from New Hampshire (and Vermont) together to compete in Dual & Tri meets throughout the winter which culminates with the NHSA state meet in Late March.  In order to be eligible for the state meet swimmers need to have competed in at least 3 NHSA sanctioned meets. (2 for HS swimmers)

Although the in season meets are scored, we enter our swimmers in the events that coaches deem necessary not always the place where they will score the highest.  When we get to the State Meet in March we will be entering all swimmers in the events where they can score the most point for the team. (Last year we won the state meet by ½ a point, 2810 to 2809.5)  The combined scores from this weekend were as follows.

1 Upper Valley Aquatic Club Upper Valley Aquatic Club 431

2 Exeter Swim Team Exeter Swim Team 266

3 Manchester Swim Team Manchester Swim Team 243

We had many great swims this Saturday with 19 different swimmers winning at least one individual event!  Zach Bishop, Griffin Deschenes, Kellen Gray and Kosta Mocklis won all three of the events of the events they were entered in.  Adam Reed logged the First & third largest time drops (:25 in his 200 IM & :20 in his 100 fly) While Haillie Figueroa-Duarte had the second largest (:21 in her 100 Fly)

Team spirit was also high with a special effort from Jack Ambrogi, Elizabeth Bencze, Grace Mack, Megan Metivier, Lilly Pleau, Abby Regis & Sam Siedzik who really stood out by cheering on their teammates throughout the meet.

We would also like to thank our parent volunteers who helped time and hand out awards for our gummy club!
