NJ SWIM CLUBS WHOSE TRAINING FACILITIES HAVE BEEN EFFECTED BY HURRICANE SANDY

HURRICANE SANDY – NJ SWIMMING

To All NJ Swimming Clubs / Coaches,

I hope that this message finds you safe, warm and well after last week’s storm.  NJ Swimming’s thoughts go out to the Clubs, Coaches, Officials, Athletes and Families still affected by this terrible storm.

Some teams within the LSC are still without training facilities due to ongoing power outages and devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy.  As we continue to recover from the aftermath of Sandy, we ask that all clubs respond to the information requests below from the NJS Coaches Reps, NJS Athlete Reps and Eastern Zone Directors.  Thank you for those teams who have already opened or offered to open their facilities to other teams.

To all NJS Clubs,

The Eastern Zone Directors are contacting member clubs to ascertain the number affected by Sandy.

We will need details as to what the damage is, how club(s) are coping and what recommendations you have for Paris and Ed to take to USA-Swimming at the USA Swimming Board Meeting Nov 18.

Please Include:
