CAL INVIT RESULTS
The LAC Senior group and select memebers of the Pre Senior group
participated in the CAL invitational this past weekend. LAC
swimmers who made finals were:
Bryce Mclaggan 2nd place 50 free
Alex Wang 4th place 200 fly, 5th place 200 IM
Haley Hamza 10th place 100 back
Trent Trump 16th place 200 IM
Our Women's A medley relay was 3rd place in the meet and our Men's A medley relay was also third
Teams from Pacific Swimming, Sierra Nevada Swimming, Central California Swimming, and Southern California Swimming competed in the meet.
ALBANY DISTANCE MEET
Sign ups are now open for the Albany Distance meet on Feb 24th. This meet is for 11&up swimmers and offers the 1000 and 1650 free. There will be many swimmers in this meet who have never competed in these events so if you do not have a time, you may make up a time, or enter the B time. We are looking forward to seeing many of our LAC 11&up swimmers compete in these events for the first time.
COACH KEVIN'S LAST DAY
Friday February 1st will be Coach Kevin's last day with our team as he and his family prepare to move to Seattle. We will be having treats from 6:15-6:30 to say goodbye to Kevin. If you feel inclined, please bake or bring some treats for the kids to share after practice.
