DCST has 596 Career Best Times at Winter Classic Meet

DCST has 596 Career Best Times at Winter Classic Meet

At the DCST Winter Classic meet, DCST had 596 individual career best times out of a total of 1018 individual swims for an improvement rate of 59%.  This included DCST swimmers swimming a new event legally for the first time in their career 124 times.  DCST won the meet by 4,024.5 points over second place Elgin.  DCST also bolstered its chances for an outstanding YMCA Championship season with 44 swims which achieved a YMCA qualifying time standard for the first time this year (20 District Times, 21 Area Times and 3 National Times).

With so many great swims, the coaching staff had a difficult time selecting only two Big Dogs of the Meet; therefore, we selected eight. The Big Dogs of the meets were as follows:  Maura Fisers (7), Aiden Sisson (7), Alison Keiner (9), Dane Pardridge (9), Madelyn Maxwell (11), Owen Bockman (11), Madisyn Grever (13) and Bradley Ruetten (13).
