Manta Rays Gather Awards at 2013 Division I State Swim Meet

After a record setting high school district meet, the Manta Rays sent 22 swimmers to this past weekend's  Ohio High School State Swim Meet in Canton, Ohio. Here is a recap of results, including schools they represent. All schools are in Division I. (If we left someone off, please let us know!)

Team Results:

St. Xavier High School named State Champions in Boys Division 1. Manta Ray Steve Russo swam for St. Xavier at the State Meet.

Ursuline Academy named State Champions in Girls Division 1.  Manta Rays swimming for Ursuline were Alisabeth Marsteller and Gabrielle Young.

Mason High School Girls garnered third place in Division 1, the highest finish in school history. Manta Rays swimming for Mason were Zoe Thatcher, Maureen Sullivan, Lizzie Troy, Gabrielle Marinelli, Julia Volpenhein, Jordan Decker, Holly Suter and Abby Essler.
