2013 Summer Season

 

To all:

 

We have finalized our Summer 2013 schedule. We will begin practicing on Monday, June 24th at 4:00 pm. The program will continue through Sunday, August 4th. The cost for the season will be $135 for Levels 1-4 and $55 for Guppies. If you are not already a USA Swimming member, you will also need to register and pay for that ($40). The team will register you for this. We simply need a copy of your child’s birth certificate. If you are unsure if you are still a USA Swimming member, please email Nicole at[email protected]. In addition, you will need to be a member of the Recreation Center.

 

The practice schedule will be as follows:

 

Class 1: Guppies I (beginners): Monday/Thursday 4:00-4:30 pm (Thursday, July 4th will be made up on Saturday, July 6thfrom 9:00-9:30 am)

Class 2: Guppies II (advanced): Monday/Thursday 4:30-5:00 pm (Thursday, July 4th will be made up on Saturday, July 6thfrom 9:30-10:00 am)

 

Class 3: Guppies I (beginners): Wednesday/Friday 4:00-4:30 pm (Friday, July 19th will be made up on Saturday, July 20thfrom 9:00-9:30 am)

Class 4: Guppies II (advanced): Wednesday/Friday 4:30-5:00 pm (Friday, July 19th will be made up on Saturday, July 20thfrom 9:30-10:00 am)

 

To sign up for Guppies and hold a place for your child, please email Nicole at [email protected]. The classes will be limited to 6 children each. Keep in mind that there is a beginner and advanced class.

 

Level 1: Monday through Friday 4:00-4:30 pm

Level 2: Monday through Friday 4:30-5:15 pm

Level 3, 4: Monday through Friday 4:00-5:15 pm

 

Most dual meets are on Tuesday evenings. On the nights that we are competing, there will be no practice.

 

We will be holding an open house on Friday, June 14th from 5:00-5:30 at the Recreation Center. Please come register and pay ahead of time if you can. The Summer is a short season and moves quickly! If you are a new swimmer, please bring a copy of your birth certificate.

 

Our meet schedule is also available under the Documents tab. Meets are not mandatory but they are encouraged. The States meet is the only meet that will require qualification.  

 

If you plan on attending the first meet on Tuesday, June 25th in Brattleboro, please go and commit immediately. The deadline is June 20th.
