Please make sure all teams are on time for all games scheduled.  The Technical Meeting for the tournament will take place on June 20th, at 3pm. The meeting is open to Athletes, Referees, Coaches and Managers. Please plan on sending a team representative to the meeting. The meeting will be at the pool at 8422 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819.

Team Training:  Team training time has been scheduled for 7:00-9:00pm on June 19th and 20th.  Please proceed to the far end of the pool (diving well) for warm up area. 

Team Rosters:  A complete roster of teams including cap # is due at midnight tonight. Please send rosters to

Social:  Tournament social will take place on Saturday after the referee clinic at 7:30pm. All details will be available at the tournament.

Referee Clinic:  After the technical meeting the referee clinic will start and run from 4:00-7:00 on Thursday- Saturday from the same time (4:00-7:00pm). All are welcome to attend these free clinics.


FINA Referee Clinic
To be held in conjunction with tournament and will be conducted by 
Eugenio Martinez of Cuba.

As a FINA international referee, Martínez participated in six Olympic Games (1972, 1976, 1980, 1984, 1992 and 1996) also attending three Olympic Games as Member of FINA Technical Water Polo Committee (2000, 2004, 2008). He also attended 10 Pan American Games, 10 Central American and Caribbean Games, 6 World University Games and 4 South American Games.

In 1996 during the Olympic Games in Atlanta, Martinez was awarded the FINA Silver Pin and in Athens 2004, the International Association of Water Polo Referees (AIA) named him an Honorary Member.

Event description:
USA Water Polo is pleased to host the 2013 Pan American Masters Championship June 21-23, 2013 in Orlando, FL. The Championship, awarded by  Union American de Natacion, will be hosted in partnership with the YMCA of Central Florida. This event is open to all USA Water Polo Master clubs and will contain age groups starting at 30+ and feature a social on International Drive in Orlando.

This will be the first time the USA has hosted the biennial event. The Championship is expected to attract up to 2,000 aquatic athletes from the South America, Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada and the USA. Past events were hosted in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in 2011 and Puerto Rico in 2009.

In addition to water polo, Masters synchronized swimming and swimming competition will be held in Sarasota, FL June 1-12. An open water swim will be hosted June 13 at Siesta Key with Diving taking place June 7-8 in Largo, FL.
