2013-2014 Season

 

Dear Parents,

We are excited to announce that our 2013-2014 season will begin on Monday, October 7th and will run through Thursday, March 13th.  We will be holding an open house on Tuesday, October 1st from 5-6 pm at the Recreation Center for all new swimmers.

Below is the fee schedule for the upcoming season. We have created a fee that covers the entire season. If you choose to swim from October through March and you pay by November 1, you will receive a 10% discount off the ‘Total’ column. If you are a Fall or Winter swimmer only, the rates for the Fall and Winter columns below will apply. The sibling discount is 20% for the second child and 50% for each child after that. For those of you that are not aware, we do offer credit card payment through TeamUnify (TU). Please sign up through TU. We will be entering the first 25 applicants into a drawing for $25 off your dues. Directions to sign up can be found at the end of this letter.

We have selected the meets we will be attending. These will be available to commit to on TU by October 1 at the latest. Please commit early. Coaches will not be calling or texting to see if you will be attending. You will be expected to use TU to enter a meet. No exceptions.

If your child is swimming in a meet, you will be expected to time. The coaches will assign you a time slot before the meet. This will be sent out to all participating families. If you are not able to work during your assigned time, it is your responsibility to find a replacement. If you fail to show up for your assigned time, you will be fined $25.00. This will be applied directly to your account. We need all parents to help! Please do your part. We are also looking for parents that are interested in becoming USA Swimming Officials. We need at least 1 volunteer. The team will cover all related costs.

Directions to sign up for credit card payment:

The Bennington Marauders participates in a monthly billing program which is hosted by Team Unify, a software program designed specifically for use by swim teams. We use these billing accounts to invoice for USA Swimming Registration, Registration Fees, Meet Fees, Banquet Fees and Apparel. This platform can and will be used for fundraising as well.

To sign up for the first time, you will need to log in and go to “My Account”. You can then change your payment method to default to either your bank account or credit card. When you are finished, click “Save Changes”.

We encourage families to check their accounts a few times each month so that each family can anticipate the monthly charge that is billed to either the credit/debit card or the bank account that is on file. Each family can log onto their account and check their account balance and items invoiced by logging into the Marauders Website, Clicking on “My Account” on the left hand side and then on “My Invoice/Payment.“

If a family wishes to change their method of payment, they can do so by logging onto the Marauders Website, clicking “my account” and then “my account” again.
