Jonah Montgomery Joins the Wolverine Coaching Staff
Jonah will be working with all groups and we welcome his extensive coaching experience.
BIO: Jonah has been involved in competitive swimming for over 30 years, starting at age 4 when he set his first record. As an age-group swimmer Jonah was a top-16 nationally ranked breaststroker, multiple YMCA State champion & YMCA national finalist.
He was captain of his team at Arch Bishop Molloy H.S. where he was a HS All-American, CHSAA champion and Catholic National High School Champion. Despite a devastating knee injury in his senior HS season, Jonah still went on to swim and set breaststroke records at Saint John’s University while becoming a Big East Champion finalist. Jonah has coached all age-groups, developing Metro 8&U Championship winners, Metro Junior Olympic champions, Eastern Zone Champions, YMCA State champions and record setters.
Coach Jonah brings his love of swimming to every practice session, where his goal is to have his swimmers realize their full potential in and out of the pool.
Jonah will be a great asset to our coaching staff.
