A New Face on Deck

You may have noticed a new face on deck working with the swimmers. That face belongs to the newest member of Coach Dave’s staff.  Assistant Coach– Lindsey King is a graduate of Texas A&M with a B.S. in Animal Science. While competing as a Texas A&M Aggie, Lindsey was a key member in winning three Big XII Team Championships and also earned an individual Big XII Championship in the 100 yard backstroke. She also earned NCAA All-American and First Team All-Big XII honors and competed at the 2012 Olympic Trials in Omaha, NE.

As a student at Westview H.S. in Portland, OR, Lindsey was two-time MVP with her team winning the OSAA State Championships twice and she winning the State Championship in the 100 yard backstroke her senior year.

In addition to coaching, Lindsey is on the staff of the award winning Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, FL.

A friend of Coach Chelsea through their college swimming careers, Lindsey said, “When Chelsea called me to ask if I would be interested in coaching with TBAY, I jumped at the chance. This is something I real want to do and I am excited to get started working with the kids. To be able to coach with Chelsea and Dave and be part of TBAY Brandon makes it even that more exciting.”
